The 2010-2011 school year was the first for the Churchill Crew Community Team.  The interest in being a part of this new team was huge our rowers had a fabulous first year. This co-ed club team started as a group of  over 40 students who attend Churchill High School in Potomac, Maryland. Now entering its second year, Churchill Crew is forming the 2011-12 team.



Crew is a great sport with many benefits.

Some of these include:

  • Teamwork
  • Rowers develop confidence, discipline and time management skills.
  • When in season, the team competes in locations including Georgetown, Baltimore, Delaware, Philadelphia and the Occoquan Reservoir.
  • Rowers are required to be in phenomenal condition  in terms of both endurance and strength
  • Crew is a year round commitment requiring a great deal of dedication from rowers

This is the official site for the Churchill Crew Club.  This community club team was started in 2010 by Alisa Dan and Julianna Hsing, students of Winston Churchill High School.

The team is made up of more than 60 coed students who attend Winston Churchill High High School in Potomac, MD.
